Hi,

I have an 18ct white gold marquise diamond engagement ring, with circular stones surrounding the central marquise cut diamond (see link for image of exact ring http://www.fraserhart.co.uk/p-1470-18ct-white-gold-ring-049ct-diamond-total-diamond-weight.aspx
I need a wedding ring to sit with it, shaped so that it will be flush with the engagement band. I really like the look of the last band on this page, the V shaped one studded with diamonds, could you please provide me with an initial quote and timescale? I'm a bit nervous about sending my engagement ring through the post. Thanks, Charlotte

Shaped wedding rings are still very popular but many people feel they look a bit odd when worn without the engagement ring. Most engagement ring designs these days are so-called wed-fit or snug-fit styles which allow a plain, straight ring to sit flush against the engagement ring without producing the much detested gap.. the only problem with this is that when the man buys the engagement ring, he is not aware of the directly related decisions he is making (shaped wedding ring or not - and the metal of course as the wedding ring will ideally be of the same metal.

Shaped wedding rings are great and an english-american phenomena because we are the only countries wearing both rings on the same finger...!
